Tom Hanks Does Everything With His Team In Finch New Trailer

It’s not all doom and gloom in the post apocalypse when Tom Hanks is involved. As Apple release the official Trailer for their upcoming sci-fi drama Finch and Hanks is doing anything, he does it with his team.

Hanks may not work in sci-fi as much as other genres, when he does it’s usually very engaging stuff. The Wachowski’s Cloud Atlas in 2013 probably his last most known film with The Circle (2017) his least remembered.

This time he plays an robotic engineer who is one of the very few survivors of an cataclysmic solar event. He finds unlikely friendship in the shape of a dog (called Goodyear) making life underground. He decides to put his experience to the test and build a robot (voiced by Caleb Landry Jones) to look after the dog when he’s not around.

We all know Mr Hanks is a name that gets bums on seats at the cinema. Like many films that have found new homes over main crux of the pandemic you can see Universal selling this film to Apple looks the best route. The trailer shows how things went underground as well as how our lead character meets his new canine friend. Celebrating being alive and enjoying life the best way you can.

He creates a robot, played by Jones, to watch over Goodyear when he no longer can. As the trio embarks on a perilous journey into a desolate American West, Finch strives to show his creation, who names himself Jeff, the joy and wonder of what it means to be alive. Their road trip is paved with both challenges and humor, as it’s as difficult for Finch to goad Jeff and Goodyear to get along as it is for him to manage the dangers of the new world.
