Tink Tailor Soldier Spy Getting Anniversary Theatrical & 4K Release

Tomas Alfredson‘s award winning Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is celebrating it’s 10th Anniversary. Just in time for Christmas Studiocanal will release 4k UHD along with a limited theatrical release in the UK.

Based on the classic cold war crime novel of the same name from John Le Carre. A classic tale of treachery and espionage starring Gary Oldman as the iconic role of George Smiley.  He is joined by Kathy Burke, Benedict Cumberbatch, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, Ciarán Hinds, John Hurt, Toby Jones, Konstantin Khabensky, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Roger Lloyd Pack, and Mark Strong.

Retired Mi6 agent Smiley is asked to return to the agency when a disgraced agent offers info that a ‘mole’  at the heart of the circus. Can smiley find that man who has betrayed his inner circle most of all his country before its too late?

The new 4K release  will have new artwork by artist Matt Taylor along with a host of new extras, full details below…

Set in the 1970s, TINKER TAILOR SOLDIER SPY finds George Smiley (Gary Oldman), a recently retired MI6 agent, doing his best to adjust to a life outside the secret service.
