They’re All Going To Get It, Cabin Fever Remake Trailer & Poster

Cabin Fever

Been horror fans we sometimes come to accept certain things like remakes. sequel after sequel, it’s been part of the genre since the early days. After the 1980s & 1990s onslaught of remakes once again that onslaught is happening once again with Cabin Fever the next in line. Now we have a new poster and UK trailer, check them out…

Eli Roth (Hostel) presents a new horror based on his own stomach-churning 2002 classic. Taken from the same script as the original, with new director Travis Zariwny (Intruder), the flesh-crawling terror of Cabin Fever is back – bloodier, gorier, and more brutal than ever before!

In Cabin Fever,a group of five college graduates rent a remote cabin in the woods and begin to fall victim to a horrifying flesh-eating virus, which attracts the unwanted attention of the homicidal locals. As it spreads among the friends, their true feelings and personalities emerge as they struggle to survive the virus and each other.

In it’s defense it’s been 14 years since the original film, many remakes tried and failed after a few years. Whilst Roth’s version was not commercial success, it was amongst horror community though. Remakes of all genres have not had the best of times critically and the most recent was Martyrs. Pascal Lageuir’s classic French Extreme horror remade for American audiences which a step too far many fans, despite been not as bad many where reporting. Will Cabin Fever suffer the same fate? It’s hard to judge if there’s a hunger for any more remakes or like any film fan, we just want to see great original films, what more can anyone ask for?

Cabin Fever remake will be released in UK by Arrow Films on Friday 13th May. The film stars Gage Golightly, Matthew Daddario, Nadine Crocker, Dustin Ingram, Samuel Davis, Louise Linton, and Randy Schulman.
