The Wolves Are ‘Hungry’ In Killers Of The Flower Moon First Trailer!

It’s been a waiting game and soon the long wait will be over when Apple TV+ finally release Martin Scorsese‘s Killers Of The Flower Moon. Today Apple have released the film’s Trailer that the wolves are ‘hungry’ in the veteran filmmaker’s latest crime drama.

We’ve been talking about this film for a while now. A lot has happened with a certain pandemic delayed or cancelled things like films, which saw the streaming channel pick up the film as one of their ‘Apple Original‘ films. Now the first footage is out, some critics are already talking about Leonardo DiCaprio up for his second Oscar win.

Based on the 2017 non fiction book of the same name from David Grann. Set in the 1920’s Native American Osage Nation (Oklahoma) have become very wealthy due to the oil. This wealth attracted attention thus extortion and murder followed, and a FBI investigation.

This looks epic in many way especially the 3 1/2 hour running time and the promo gives a sense of the tone of the film, looks fantastic…

At the turn of the 20th century, oil brought a fortune to the Osage Nation, who became some of the richest people in the world overnight. The wealth of these Native Americans immediately attracted white interlopers, who manipulated, extorted, and stole as much Osage money as they could before resorting to murder. Based on a true story and told through the improbable romance of Ernest Burkhart (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Mollie Kyle (Lily Gladstone), “Killers of the Flower Moon” is an epic western crime saga, where real love crosses paths with unspeakable betrayal. Also starring Robert De Niro and Jesse Plemons, “Killers of the Flower Moon” is directed by Academy Award winner Martin Scorsese from a screenplay by Eric Roth and Martin Scorsese, based on David Grann’s best-selling book.

The film also stars Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Lily Gladstone, Tantoo Cardinal, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, Jillian Dion, William Belleau, Louis Cancelmi, Tatanka Means, Michael Abbot Jr., Pat Healy, Scott Shepard, Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson.

Killers Of The Flower Moon will premiere in UK and Irish cinemas on 6th October, before streaming globally on Apple TV+.
