The THOR Comic-con Footage/Trailer Appears

Here is our first look at the footage for Kenneth Branagh’s THOR . The footage or promo trailer was shown at last week’s comc con and now thanks to Movieweb we can now what we can expect when the mobvie comes out in June 2011 (USA May 2011).

My first impressions are very mixed lot’s of cheese, campiness, bad costumes, a throne room that looks like a bigger version of the one Flash Gordon met Ming the Merciless during the 1980 version, I see bits of He-Man (thats the worrying part), at times it feels like Clash Of The Titans and the Destroyer scene at the end looks like a rip-off of War of The Worlds. Until I see more footage I have now mixed feelings about this but until then I will sit on the fence until I see more evidence, give it a chance, but if nothing improves my views I can see this been the 2011 Terminator Salvation, big hype: big letdown and I forgot to say the doomed 3D thing!

The movie stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston, Kat Dennings (looking very sexy), Natalie Portman, Rene Russo, Idris Elba (looking scar with those eyes and plastic helmet), Stellan Skarsgaard with Kenneth Branagh directing.
