The Reckoning Is Coming In the Violent Ends Trailer

Even honest men want revenge like Billy Magnussen in indie revenge thriller Violent Ends. IFC Films have released the official U.S Trailer teases bad blood runs deep, it will be a reckoning!

This crime thriller is directed by John Michael Powell which also stars James Badge Dale, Kate Burton, Ray McKinnon, Nick Stahl, plus Alexandra Shipp.

Violent Ends follows an honest man Lucas Frost (Magnussen) who wants a peaceful life away from his criminal family life. He finds himself pulled back into the business when an armed robbery goes wrong with Lucas seeking revenge.

A bit of a throwback to those Southern crime films. A mix of noir, revenge , neo-western. Not highly original but that’s not a negative as there’s something that makes this stand out.

Set in the Ozark Mountains, VIOLENT ENDS follows Lucas Frost (Magnussen), an honest man brought up in a crime family whose only legacy is violence. As Lucas tries to make a peaceful life of his own with his fiancée, Emma (Shipp), he is suddenly pulled back into the family business when his cousin, Eli, perpetrates an armed robbery with brutal consequences.

There is no word if and who will release this film in the UK or Ireland. IFC Films will release Violent Ends will get a limited theatrical release in the U.S from 31st October.
