The Hunger Games: Catching Fire First Trailer Has Arrived!
Every Revolution starts with a spark , every new film starts with a first trailer and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire first trailer has arrived!
It may not be out until the end of the year Lionsgate have delivered their promise to release a full trailer of the sequel to The Hunger Games at last night’s MTV Movie Awards which gets the ball rolling once again. The new trailer shows our 74th game winners Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) on their ‘Victors Tour’ but as expected behind the scenes of Capitol endorsed tour all is not what it seems.Outraged at Katniss victory President Snow (Donald Sutherland) is worried that her win may kick off something with the populous he has his trump card Plutarch Heavensbee (Philip Seymour Hoffman) to make sure that never happens.
If your concerned about new director Francis Lawrence not capturing the gritty dark edge of the first film this trailer may answer your question probably he’s went a step further. Any fears of a quick turnaround may have evaporated too as it looks this film will just be as grand as the first film and the additions of new cast such as Philip Seymour Hoffman look to give this film extra momentum too. The new cast do get as much screen time in this trailer as the old cast do however like the first film a glimpse of the actual games or Quarter Quell will have to wait until closer to the release or the film itself. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will arrive in UK& Irish cinemas from 22nd November co-starring Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Donald Sutherland, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jena Malone, Jeffrey Wright, and Amanda Plummer.
