Columbia Pictures have just released online the brand new international (U.K) trailer for THE GREEN HORNET.The trailer is just slightly shorter than its American Theatrical trailer which was released a few weeks back, howwever there is some unseen footage.

The Green Hornet is a big screen adaptation of the classic 1960’s tv show show(which was an adaptation of the popular radio show) starring Van Williams as Brit Reid aka Green Hornet and the legendary Bruce Lee as Kato with the 21st century version with Seth Rogen as the Green Hornet with Jay Chou as Kato. The movie also stars Cameron Diaz, Tom Wilkinson, Michael Pena and the brilliant Christoph Waltz and the movie is directed by Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind).

With many of the so called ‘big players’ in 2010 movie releases with very poor box office sales and for Columbia in The Losers & Jonah Hex (out UK Sept 10th) they’ll be praying the Green Hornet can turn things around when it comes out on January 14th 2011.

Britt Reid is the son of LAโ€™s most prominent and respected media magnate and perfectly happy to maintain a directionless existence on the party scene โ€” until his father mysteriously dies, leaving Britt his vast media empire. Striking an unlikely friendship with one of his fatherโ€™s more industrious and inventive employees, Kato, they see their chance to do something meaningful for the first time in their lives: fight crime. But in order to do this, they decide to become criminals themselves โ€” protecting the law by breaking it, Britt becomes the vigilante The Green Hornet as he and Kato hit the streets. source Blogomatic3000
