Searchlight Pictures recently took the film to South By Southwest Festival (SXSW) for it’s World premiere. Now the film premiere’s it’s official premiere on Disney+ (Hulu in the U.S), we get a look at the trailer.
Directed by Ned Benson (“The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby” trilogy), starring Lucy Boynton, Justin H. Min, David Corenswet and Austin Crute. In The Greatest Hits we follow Harriet (Boynton) who turns back time when she discovers certain songs make her travel in time. Literally back to a time with her former boyfriend, however she collides with a new love interest.
This romantic drama is all about should I take those second chances. Your past memories you will always treasure, will you move on or be kept back?
Harriet (Lucy Boynton) finds art imitating life when she discovers certain songs can transport her back in time – literally. While she relives the past through romantic memories of her former boyfriend (David Corenswet), her time travelling collides with a burgeoning new love interest in the present (Justin H. Min). As she takes her journey through the hypnotic connection between music and memory, she wonders – even if she could change the past, should she?
The Greatest Hits will stream exclusively on Disney+ from 12th April.
