Early in the week Roman Polanski’s THE GHOST WRITER first trailer appeared online. The trailer appeared in German which is ok if you understand the German language but today the English Language version appeared and you can watch it down below.

No matter what your views are of Roman Polanski‘s recent arrest of an alleged rape of a minor over 35 years ago what it has done has put a little bit of PR onto THE GHOST WRITER which he was directing before his arrest. The movie does look a tad over the top, melodramatic but still looks a very solid looking movie. Summit entertainment have picked up the rights of the movie and will get an limited release in February 19th in USA with more in March, but no information on a UK or Irish release date.

The movie  centres around a ghost writer played by Ewan Magregor to finish of the memoirs of former British Prime Minister played by Pearce Bronson only to uncover secrets that puts his own life in jeperody. The movie is based on THE GHOST by Robert Harris. Kim Cattrall, Tom Wilkinson, Timothy Hutton, Olivia Williams and James Belushi also star.
