The Fall Guy Second Trailer Turns On ‘The Full Charm’
Universal Pictures recently premiered the film at SXSW and the reviews look good for David Leitch‘s film. Many review stating the fun element with jokes hitting the right places. The chemistry between Gosling and Emily Blunt who plays the director was also highlighted. Is this a action flick or a rom-com? Both probably!
In The Fall Guy, Gosling is Colt Seavers considered one of the best stunt men. He’s brought onboard his ex lover’s new film andย he tries to re-ignite the relationship. He no finds himself embroiled in the mystery of the film’s missing lead.
Anything Ryan Gosling touches seems to turn to gold. This has hit film written all over it, though I must be the only person NOT looking forward to this.

Heโs a stuntman, and like everyone in the stunt community, he gets blown up, shot, crashed, thrown through windows and dropped from the highest of heights, all for our entertainment. And now, fresh off an almost career-ending accident, this working-class hero has to track down a missing movie star, solve a conspiracy and try to win back the love of his life while still doing his day job. What could possibly go right?
Oscarยฎ nominee Ryan Gosling (Barbie, La La Land, Drive) stars as Colt Seavers, a battle-scarred stuntman who, having left the business a year earlier to focus on both his physical and mental health, is drafted back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio movieโbeing directed by his ex, Jody Moreno, played by Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer, A Quiet Place films, Sicario)โgoes missing.
While the filmโs ruthless producer (Emmy winner Hannah Waddingham; Ted Lasso), maneuvers to keep the disappearance of star Tom Ryder (Golden Globe winner Aaron Taylor-Johnson; Bullet Train) a secret from the studio and the media, Colt performs the filmโs most outrageous stunts while trying (with limited success) to charm his way back into Jodyโs good graces. But as the mystery around the missing star deepens, Colt will find himself ensnared in a sinister, criminal plot that will push him to the edge of a fall more dangerous than any stunt.
The cast also include Winston Duke, Hannah Waddingham, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Teresa Palmer, Lee Majors, Ben Knight, andย Stephanie Hsu.
The Fall Guy will crash into UK and Irish cinemas from 2nd May.
