The Djinn ‘Conjuring’ A UK Release Watch Trailer

If you’re a fan of the horror genre you’ll be aware David Charbonier and Justin Powell are setting the genre alight with The Boy Behind The Door currently on Shudder. Next month Koch Media will finally conjure the film that introduced the directors, The Djinn in the UK cinemas

The film introduces Ezra Dewey who stars in the directors current film. He plays Dylan, a mute boy is trapped in his apartment with a sinister monster when he makes a wish to fulfill his heart’s greatest desire: to have a voice.

The film has been garnering some positive buzz amongst genre fans. The cinematography gives the film a genuinely scary, creepy feel. There’s no UK Trailer just yet for the release, below is the USA Trailer check it out…

The story follows a mute twelve-year-old, Dylan Jacobs, as he discovers a mysterious book of spells inside his new apartment. Grieving the loss of his mother, and feeling isolated from everyone except for his father, Dylan performs a ritual that promises to deliver his heartโ€™s desire: to have a voice. But he soon discovers that every gift has a toll when a sinister djinn arrives to collect his soul.

Now trapped in his new home with nowhere to hide, Dylan must find a way to survive until the stroke of midnight or pay the ultimate price.

The film also stars Rob Brownstein, Tevy Poe, Donald Pitts, and John Erickson.

The Djinn will get a UK cinema release and that date will be 24th September.
