The Lord Of Hell will be back on our small screens next month with the return of Lucifer Season 5. Then again is it him? Netflix have released the long awaited Official Trailer that suggests we’re not looking at old Nick (Tom Ellis)…But his brother Michael!!!
Lucifer Morningstar (Ellis) bored, peed off and decides to exchange his kingdom for the City Of Angels, Los Angeles. But this isn’t him, it’s his twin brother Michael (Ellis) who spends time helping the Police take on criminals. Before you know it Lucifer returns to confront his brother whose pretending to be him…All hell breaks loose!
The trailer picks up from the end of season 4 when our antihero decides to take the decision to go back home. But why does his brother decide to come to Earth? That decision isn’t clear at the moment but in true Lucifer fashion we will find out eventually find out. As big secrets will be revealed, possibly some beloved characters may perish.
Lucifer is back and acting…strange. Get ready – this season all your desires will be fulfilled.
Lucifer, bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, resigns his throne and abandons his kingdom for the gorgeous, shimmering insanity of Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD punish criminals.
Season 5 debuts in 2020.
The series will be broke into two parts, each season will have 8 episodes each.
Lucifer Season 5 Part 1 premieres August 21 only on Netflix. Part 2 release date has still to be announced.
