Thank Focker For That Daddy Focker is back, Dustin Hoffman is back for movie 3
What the Fock is going on at the Fockers household? Meet The Parents: Little Fockers is in dire stratits and is in need of a pick up to get the funnybone playing again. Well it looks like they may have found the answer as Deadline are reporting that Dustin Hoffman has been convinced to return once again as head of the Focker clan Bernie Focker!
In the report Universal Pictures has recalled the entire cast back for some reshoots or ‘pickups’ in September which will include Hoffman (4 of about 9 scenes), who was intially written out of the third movie. Though movie fans may love Dustin Hoffman but off-screen its known that the actor is a hard man to please and bargin with and the movie finished filming a while back well under budget so Universal Pictures had no problems using that spare casdh to convince the Hoffmeister to return.
Deadlines insider says the role offered to Hoffman is not to dissimilar to the one originally offered and he will be in the pivotal roles with his on screen wife Barbara Striesland who plays Rozalin Focker, he’ll also be in the big end scene which involves all the cast too. Recent test screenings according to Empire say the movie got a 54% giving it excellent, 85% total favourable and 73% definitely recommend which does suggest the movie may have been okay but there Mr.Insider says“We want to make it better; it’s an investment for the future of the franchise”. Does This suggest that there maybe more Focker movies possib;y on the cards?
