Taylor Lautner Leaping Into Action Films Again with Parkour Themed TRACERS

When you make your name in a film franchise one that’s loathed by the majority of film community apart from those who loved the books, life is going to be extremely difficult to shake off the ghost of that franchise. This is the case for Taylor Lautner  who out of the other major players in Twilight Saga who hasn’t had the easiest of transitions into the big real world. As you may remember (or just laugh out loud) his attempt to be a action star in Abduction was nothing but an embarrassing joke, however if you think his days of attempting next big action hero are over think again as the young actor once called the new Marlon Brando (another laugh out loud moment) will once again rip of his shirt to be star in Parkour themed flick TRACERS.

Lautner will play New York Bike Messenger (or โ€œthe hottest thing on two wheelsโ€) Cam who gets into a lot of debt with the sharks he loans from. Cam crashes into a sexy stranger who introduces him to the world of Parkour (or free running) which somehow helps him get free from debt. This sound 100% ridiculous, stupid and the biking/debt doesn’t really match up with Parkour side of the film this actually sounds like Joseph Gordon Levitt’s Premium Rush crossed with French action flick District 13 this is a recipe for disaster.

Daniel Benmayor (Bruc, the Manhunt) is directing this one and if your trying to get away from Twilight Saga would you star in a film which has two producers from? guess what? Twilight Saga! You wouldn’t  but they are that’s Mary Bowen and Wyck Godfrey, who’ll probably make sure Lautner will have his shirt off to make sure the female Twihards will see this when it arrives. So whilst Robert Pattinson attempts to be more positive with Cosmopolis it looks like Mr Lautner will continue his downward spiral by staying as a typecasted actor, oh you can add also Adam Sandlers unwanted Grown Ups sequel to the list as well.
