Take One Giant Leap And Watch First Man First Trailer

‘Houston we have a trailer!’ and today Universal Pictures has taken one giant leap into the cinematic universe with the First Trailer for First Man.
From dancing in the streets of Tinsel Town with La La Land Damien Chazelle lifts off into space with a film based on Neil Armstrong. Ryan Gosling is set to play the legendary astronaut and NASA’s mission to land a man on the moon.
Chazelle promises a darker, visceral tone than the usual biopics. On first impressions, you get a sense of the isolation, claustrophobia. Most of all we’ll get a glimpse of the stress the Apollo 11 team had to go through. This is not your typical space based films and doesn’t hide from the fact, technology wise they stepping into unknown territories. Some didn’t have the confidence but Neil Armstrong seemed to be the rock of the team confident.
I have to admit, I didn’t enjoy La La Land, watching this promo, he may have won back my support!
On the heels of their six-time Academy Award®-winning smash, La La Land, Oscar®-winning director Damien Chazelle and star Ryan Gosling reteam for Universal Pictures’ First Man, the riveting story of NASA’s mission to land a man on the moon, focusing on Neil Armstrong and the years 1961-1969. A visceral, first-person account, based on the book by James R. Hansen, the movie will explore the sacrifices and the cost—on Armstrong and on the nation—of one of the most dangerous missions in history.
Written by Academy Award® winner Josh Singer (Spotlight), the drama is produced by Wyck Godfrey & Marty Bowen (The Twilight Saga, The Fault in Our Stars) through their Temple Hill Entertainment banner, alongside Chazelle and Gosling. Isaac Klausner (The Fault in Our Stars) executive produces. Amblin Entertainment co-finances the film.
The film also stars Claire Foy, Jason Clarke, Kyle Chandler, Patrick Fugit, Ciaran Hinds, Ethan Embry.
First Man will be released in the UK and Irish Cinemas on 12th October.
