Steven Knight’s BBC Drama This Town Gets A Home Release Date

Last month Steven Knight‘s This Town aired on the BBC. From next month you can own that series on Blu-ray, DVD and Download courtesy of Dazzler Media.
Knight the creator of Peaky Blinders sees him head to his home town of Birmingham for next venture. Writes, directs and showrunner for this six part series about a group of young people who create a band during social unrest.
This town is a 6 part series that is set in 1981 Birmingham and stars Levi Brown as Dante Brown. A young poet struggling to find his feet as violence erupts around him, joins a band and a genius stars to emerge.
The trailer showcases the violence as much as the formation of the band. UB 40, The Beat, Duran Duran, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Dexys Midnight Runners are some of the great bands rose out of Birmingham. This series has been received great reviews and if you can have a blind eye to the accents you might have a great show on the cards.
From Steven Knight, the creator of Peaky Blinders and SAS Rogue Heroes, comes an electrifying new series that tells a story of family ties, teenage kicks and redemption.

The series also stars Michelle Dockery(Downton Abbey), Nicholas Pinnock, David Dawson, Ben Rose, Eve Austin, Geraldine James, Jordan Bolger, and Freya Parks.
Dazzler Media will release This Town on Blu-ray, DVD and Download-to-Own from 13th May.
