Stan Lee, Marvel Comics Co-Creator Dies Aged 95

‘Keep Moving Forward, and If It’s Time To Go, It’s Time’.Sadly for Stan Lee, the man who co-created Marvel Comics, has ‘time to go’ has arrived. The real-life superhero has died aged 95.
Let’s just say without Stan Lee, Marvel Universe probably wouldn’t exist or be the success it is today without him. He was the mastermind behind some of the greatest characters the comic book ever released: Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Black Panther, X-Men. So many are iconic in their own individual ways, loved by millions.
He was Marvel Comics editor in chief for a while as well as the President of Marvel. Next, to create those colourful magical characters, he also helped as a copywriter on the covers and stories. Constantly a source of inspiration for the upcoming talent over the decades, a true hands-on man.
Whilst making Marvels characters grounded in humanity, newer generations of fans will know him for one thing, his cameos. From the early days of the Marvel Cinematic Universe right up to the recent Avengers film, he would appear in those films. It would become one of the highlights if the MCU and non-MCU films like Deadpool, X-Men, Spider-man and more recently Venom.
Sometimes you don’t really feel the impact of a person until they die. This was true for Stan Lee, his legacy will forever live on. People forget he created comics first Black Superhero, Black Panther which was groundbreaking in 1966. Many actors, celebs who had the privilege of working work or even met Stan have paid their respects via social media…

Even Marvel’s rival D.C paid respects to Stan
He changed the way we look at heroes, and modern comics will always bear his indelible mark. His infectious enthusiasm reminded us why we all fell in love with these stories in the first place. Excelsior, Stan.

Lee’s wife, Joan, died in 2017, also aged 95. He is survived by his daughter, JC Lee.
J.C. Lee said about her father: “He felt an obligation to his fans to keep creating. He loved his life and he loved what he did for a living. His family loved him and his fans loved him. He was irreplaceable.”
