Spider-Man: No Way Home Is ‘Five Alive’ At Official Film Chart Summit

Sing 2 (2022)

I think we can say Spider-Man: No Way Home is replicating it’s popularity it had at the cinemas at home. As it scores a fifth consecutive week at Number 1 on the Official Film Chart.

The blockbuster continues to perform strongly on both disc and digital, and its total this week is made up of 74% physical copies. The news of the success of the home entertainment release comes with no surprise

Scream returns to is peak of Number 2 following its own release on disc, putting it ahead of two brand new entries. The first is animated musical sequel Sing 2 – whose star-studded cast includes Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlet Johansson plus musicians Halsey, Pharrell and Bono – debuts at Number 3 on digital downloads only.

At Number 4 is the Kenneth Branagh-starring and directed adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Death On The Nile, landing straight into the Top 50 following its release on disc.

As a result, Dune is pushed down to Number 5, landing just ahead of Oscar-winning Belfast at Number 6. Our second Kenneth Branagh-directed new entry this week tells the story of a working-class family living through life in turbulent Belfast in the late 1960s.

Meanwhile, The Matrix Resurrections drops to Number 7, Clifford The Big Red Dog rebounds four to Number 8, and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald holds at Number 9. Finally, Paw Patrol: The Movie keeps its place in the Top 10 at Number 10.

Now, as well as OfficialCharts.com, the Official Film Chart can also be found on FindAnyFilm.com – the ultimate site for Film and TV fans to discover all the legal ways to buy the entertainment they want on disc and digital formats.
