Sparks Fly In Twisted Love Story Companion First Trailer

Love can work in mysterious ways, in Drew Hanncock‘s Companion First UK Trailer sparks are set to fly in the twisted love story between Jack Quaid and Sophie Thatcher.

The film has a big Barbarian reunion with star Thatcher with director Zach Cregger who this time is producing (along with Roy Lee, Raphael Margules, J.D. Lifshitz). Described as a sci-fi horror that promises to be a new kind of love story.

Companion is Drew Hancock‘s directorial feature debut whose work at this stage was in television. This promo is hard to truly tell what the sci-fi element actually is, has Quaid‘s character just created or bought an android? Is Quaid a psycopath as Thatcher’s character seems to be handcuffed to a chair? Whatever he maybe he’s certainly not a nice person or is there a big twist? He’s the android whose unstable?

The actual synopsis / plot isn’t clear and what we do have it plays as advert. Any suggestions?
