Finnish filmmaker Jalmari Herlander‘s 2023 war action thriller was pure escapism at his best. Jorma Tommila was our prospector Atami, and the Nazi soldiers picked on wrong one to take his gold. They all paid for it with their dear lives, thanks to the man of very few words who just happened to be a retired soldier of great skills. Garnered a reputation that was legendary with the Russian Soldiers and now the war is over, the Russians once again cross his path.
Our hero seeks vengeance in Sisu: Road To Vengeance by going after the red army commander who killed his family. Who is also hellbent finishing the job he started!

Returning to the house where his family was brutally murdered during the war, “the man who refuses to die” (Jorma Tommila) dismantles it, loads it on a truck, and is determined to rebuild it somewhere safe in their honour. When the Red Army commander who killed his family (Stephen Lang from Don’t Breathe) comes back hellbent on finishing the job, a relentless, eye-popping cross-country chase ensues – a fight to the death, full of clever, unbelievable action set pieces.
Sisu: Road To Revenge will arrive in UK and Irish cinemas from 21st November.
