Sharlto Copely’s Europa Report Teases Us With Viral Teaser

Earlier this year we got our first look at Sebastián Cordero’s mysterious Europa Project starring Sharlto Copely (District 9) but now only weeks away from 2013 we’ve heard virtually nothing until now.Despite there even been a distributor a very short 36 second long viral trailer has landed online  adding intrigue to the whole film as well as more mystery.

Copley plays one of the 6 astronauts who make the long daunting journey Jupiter’s frigid, glacial moon Europa in search of extraterrestrial life.The trailer itself plays more like a viral, not revealing any footage from the film but a number of interesting shots of the space station and this maybe an ‘found footage’ flick but even that possibility is unknown either as we don’t know much about the film. We do get an web address to EuropaVenturesLLC.com which the trailer is part of the corporate whom we assume is the company funding the whole project. Also on the site you’ll find a 14 minute video which shows more shots of the spaceship as well as the inside of the crew including Copley, Google “Life on Europa” also appears in the viral but when you google it nothing really happens apart from real links to the Proper Europa Project.
