Friends don’t let friends have mid-life crises alone. Apple TV+ have debuted the official Trailer for their new upcoming comedy series Platonic. Starring Seth Rogen  and Rose Byrne as old friends reunited, who might more than just friends?

The half-hour comedy series is co-created, directed, and co-written by Nick Stoller and Francesca Delbanco. Rogen and Byrne are also onboard as executive producers, Byrne is also no stranger to Apple who also stars in Physical soon to get a third season.

Mid-life crisis will hit us all (some of us might be already there!) and our leading twosome play 2 friends facing that crisis. The pair went their separate ways all thanks to a rift that happened many years ago. Things start to consume them once again now in a funny way, will it destabilize everything?

Platonic follows a platonic pair of former best friends approaching midlife (Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne) who reconnect after a long rift. The duo’s friendship becomes all consuming—and destabilizes their lives in a hilarious way.

The cast of the series also includes Luke Macfarlane, Tre Hale, Andrew Lopez and Carla Gallo. The half-hour comedy Platonic is set to make its global debut with the first three episodes on Wednesday, 24th May on Apple TV+, followed by new episodes weekly, every Wednesday.
