See Is Believing In The Woman In The Window First Trailer

There all hiding something in Joe Wright’Woman In The Window. Twentieth Century Fox/Disney Pictures have released the first Trailer for the upcoming psychological suspense thriller.

Starring Amy Adams as the agoraphobic child psychologist who befriends a neighbour. When her life is turned upside down when that neighbour disappears. Foul Play? Nothing is what it seems!

This one feels like an homage to the old Alfred Hitchcock films, especially Rear Window. One that plays on your mind and with this one the main characters anxieties. Hopefully this one stays away from the The Girl On The Train route. A.J Finn wrote the book which feels more towards Gone Girl which we do love. The film did suffer a lot of set backs with production, fingers crossed it was all for the best…

Based on the best-selling novel, adapted by Pulitzer Prize winning writer Tracy Letts, THE WOMAN IN THE WINDOW follows Dr. Anna Fox, a recluse, living alone in her New York City brownstone, as she spends her days drinking wine (maybe too much), watching old movies . . . and spying on her neighbours.

When the Russell family moves into the house across the way, they appear to be the perfect family. But when Anna, gazing out her window one night, sees something she shouldn’t, her world begins to crumble and shocking secrets are laid bare. Forced to prove what she saw actually happened, everyone begins to question if what occurred was real or imagined. Is it paranoia or did it happen? In this diabolically gripping thriller, no one and nothing is what it seems.

The film also stars Gary Oldman, Julianne Moore, Anthony Mackie, Wyatt Russell, Tracy Letts (who wrote the script), Brian Tyree Henry, and Jennifer Jason Leigh.

The Woman In The Window will be released in the UK Ireland and the USA from 15th May 2020.
