Seduced By The Moustache Watch The First Trailer For ANNA KARENINA

After his dabble into action thriller with last year’s Hanna with Saorise Ronan director Joe Wrightย whichย was underrated but now the director is back familiar territory with his next film, ANNA KARENINA. The film’s first trailer has arrived and the director has joined forces once again with Keira Knightley for an new adaptation of the classic Leo Tolstoy novel, it will be the pair’s third outing together with Pride& Prejudice and Atonement been the others.
Knightley plays the eponymous titular character Annaย an Russian high society aristocrat who finds herself entangled in a love affair with a Count Vronsky (played by Aaron Johnson and his monster moustache) whose relationship starts to threaten the fabric of those close to them. Though Wright didn’t look out of his depth in Hanna with Anna Karenina he feels back at home in territory he’s loves, adores period based dramas showing off strengths as a fantastic filmmaker. The set designs gorgeous, visually wonderfulย epic in nature but that how any adaptation of classic literature should be treated too. I have the utmost respect for these type of films, personally not my type of filmย what makes me curious i why we get so many adaptations of same film ?like in franchise films there’s only so many ways you can tell one story hopefully in September Joe Wright will impress us all!
Impressive looking film deserves an stellar cast and Anna Karenina does not disappoint with Jude Law,ย Matthew Macfadyen, Kelly Macdonald, Emily Watson, Domhnall Gleeson, Holliday Grainger, and Olivia Williams making up with rest of the cast. Anne Karenina is arriving in the UK&Ireland September 7th with the American release November 9th on a limited release suggests this potentially could be running for Oscar nomination.
The third collaboration of Academy Award nominee Keira Knightley with director Joe Wright, following the award-winning box office successes โPride & Prejudiceโ and โAtonement,โ is the epic love story โAnna Karenina,โ adapted from Leo Tolstoyโs classic novel by Academy Award winner Tom Stoppard (โShakespeare in Loveโ). The story unfolds in its original late-19th-century Russia high-society setting and powerfully explores the capacity for love that surges through the human heart, from the passion between adulterers to the bond between a mother and her children. As Anna (Ms. Knightley) questions her happiness, change comes to her family, friends, and community.
