There was a time Optimus Prime and Megatron were friends, supported each other like brothers. In Transformers One is that time and Paramount Pictures have released the second UK Trailer, the Bots assemble to save Cybertron.
With San Diego Comic-Con under way now, film promos are slowly appearing online like this one. Josh Cooley’s animated Transformers film promises to reveal the origins of the robot toys. Michael Bay did his bit, to many too much to a point devoid of any entertainment value. There is small talk this could be the best of all the films from the franchise and 38 years after the last animated version.
In Transformers One Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry have the honour of voicing Prime and Megatron. Younger bots, then called Orion Pax and D-16 who are best of friends. Their home planet of Cybertron comes under attack and they must defend it, possibly causing division.
This trailer gives a better impression of what we can expect. Highlighting the young bots friendship but also cracks starting to appear directing us towards what we see in the live action films.

Transformers One is the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever. In the first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers movie, TRANSFORMERS ONE features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, with Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm.
Transformers One will arrive in UK and Irish cinemas from 11th October (20th September if your in the U.S). The rest of the voice includes Scarlet Johansson (Elita-1), Keegan-Michael Key (B-127), Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne (Alpha Trion) and Jon Hamm (Sentinel Prime).
