Roots, thats going back to the beginning where it all started and the genre that’s always been close to his heart, horror. The Kitsch 1950’s look for the film can be seen also in it’s new poster
From creative genius Tim Burton (โAlice in Wonderland,โ The Nightmare Before Christmasโ) comes โFrankenweenie,โ a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. In Tim Burtonโs โFrankenweenieโ young Victor conducts a science experiment to bring his beloved dog Sparky back to life, only to face unintended, sometimes monstrous, consequences.
So is it a return to form for Tim Burton or just another failure ala Dark Shadows, intriguing build up, disappointing film? Hereโs hoping Frankenweenie is great film which you can catch in UK&Ireland October 17th (October 5th USA), the film stars the voices of Charlie Tahan, Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine OโHara and Martin Landau.
