This new year Sam Mendes epic war story 1917 will grace UK Cinemas. The size and scope of the upcoming film looks amazing, today we get a couple of Posters. The posters are bold, striking with 1917 standing out, with George MacKay and Charles Dean Schofield at the centre of both.

Time maybe the ‘enemy’ in this film, but time is now to book your IMAX tickets for 1917. We all know the sound and picture quality of IMAX created films is awesome, this film is looking a must see in the format. Most of all in the geometric size you should be watching the film making you feel you are in the centre.

At the height of the First World War, two young British soldiers, Schofield (Captain Fantasticโ€™s George MacKay) and Blake (Game of Thronesโ€™ Dean-Charles Chapman) are given a seemingly impossible mission. In a race against time, they must cross enemy territory and deliver a message that will stop a deadly attack on hundreds of soldiersโ€” Blakeโ€™s own brother among them.

1917 is directed by Sam Mendes, who wrote the screenplay with Krysty Wilson-Cairns (Showtimeโ€™s Penny Dreadful). The film is produced by Mendes and Pippa Harris (Revolutionary Road, Away We Go) for their Neal Street Productions, Jayne-Ann Tenggren (associate producer, Spectre), Callum McDougall (executive producer, Mary Poppins Returns, Skyfall) and Brian Oliver (Rocketman, Black Swan).

A cast of many includingย Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Strong, Richard Madden, Colin Firth, Andrew Scott, Daniel Mays, Adrian Scarborough, Jamie Parker, Nabhaan Rizwanย andย Claire Duburcq.
