Will it be second time lucky as the once popular video game Hitman gets another bite at the cherry as Rupert Friend shows why he’s the perfect killing machine in the UK trailer for Hitman:Agent 47.

The Xavier Gens 2007 version was a disaster so 8 years later new name, new cast and director the new trailer suggests this version will stay closer to it’s origins but will it be any better?

This like many upcoming films has had it’s fair share of set back with the most significant been the tragic sudden death of Paul Walker who was lined up to play the bald assassin. Some may look at the choice of the English actor Friend in the role but when you look at his role in Homeland he is an excellent choicegor the genetically modified hitman.  For those looking for something for something crazy, off kilter over the top action Hitman:Agent 47  looks like it will deliver a fun ride  especially if you throw away the awful script and go with the flow. What intrigues us to see a little bit more is Star Trek‘s Zachary Quinto who character delivers a sense of mystery  worth checking out

Hitman:Agent 47 will arrive in UK&Ireland on 27th August co-starring Ciarán Hinds, Hannah Ware and Thomas Kretschmann.
