Synopsis:
In a nation where educating girls is seen as a rebellion, a visionary woman dares to teach young minds to dream. When their innovation draws global attention, their success sparks hope-and opposition. As threats loom and sacrifices are made, their courage and unity ignite a movement that could forever transform the world. Starring Nikohl Boosheri (“The Bold Type”) as Roya Mahboob and Ali Fazal (“Death on the Nile,” “Victoria & Abdul”) as Samir Khan, “Rule Breakers” tells the incredible true story of a female Afghan college student who defied tradition to teach robotics to high school girls. Her mentorship not only empowered these young women to innovate and compete on the global stage but also challenged societal norms, sparking a movement of hope and transformation.
