Rosamund Pike Is A ‘Pioneer’ In Radioactive First Trailer

For years we celebrate the male pioneers in society, rarely the female ones. Radioactive will celebrate Marie Curie, a true pioneer of science and medicine. Ahead of it’s World Premiere, Studiocanal have released the First UK trailer, a genius and rebel.

Rosamund Pike stars as Curie, the scientist who would win Nobel Peace Prize. Following her early days, a curious mind into her days with Pierre Currie (Sam Riley). The pair marry with breakthroughs and discoveries, most of all in Radium.

A fascinating time to be alive and the 1800’s with things we take for granted been discovered. It was also a time such as science was dominated by men and many wouldn’t have enjoyed seeing a woman getting deserved accolades. Will be great to see Pike get deserved recognition as it’s a long time since Gone Girl (2014).

Radioactive will make it’s world premiere at Toronto Film Festival on 14th September. Studiocanal haven’t announced an UK & Irish cinema release date yet apart from ‘2020’.

The film also stars Aneurin Barnard,Anya Taylor-Joy, Simon Russell Beale, with Academy Award® nominated Marjane Satrapi (Voices) directing.
