Reality Arrives For James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way Of Water First Trailer

Remember Pandora? Well folks, this December we will finally return there. Today 20th Century Studios unleash the First Official Trailer for Avatar 2 aka Avatar: The Way Of Water!
If you watched Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness you were treated to this trailer during the previews. We saw it on the big screen, visually it looks stunning however has the long wait for this sequel deflated any anticipation? It’s been a long time since Avatar which was released in 2009, The Peoples Movies was one year old this year we celebrate our 14th Birthday. Despite the mixed reviews, the film made nearly $3 billion (£2.4 Billion) at the box office worldwide.
Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington return as Neytiri and Jake with the film set a decade after the original. We follow the Sully family who are living in peace on Pandora, that is about to change when the humans return.
The first film was set amongst the jungles of Pandora, the trailer teases it will explore other corners of the planet. Especially the Oceans with a look at another Na’vi, who are green rather than blue.
Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.
The rest of the cast includes Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Michelle Yeoh, Giovanni Ribisi, Oona Chaplin, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement and Kate Winslet.
Avatar: The Way Of Water will be released in UK, Irish and U.S cinemas from 16th December. If you haven’t seen the original Avatar, 20th Century Studios’ will re-release the film on 23rd September.
