There’s nothing better than spending a night on the tiles with old friends , but a night that literally our little planet meet it’s doom thanks to alien invasion, apocalyptic disasters? 12 Pints, 12 Pubs it’s the First (UK) Trailer for The World’s End.
Edgar Wright‘s “Cornetto Trilogy” is finally coming to an end and what better way to do it on a epic bar crawl which sees Gary King (Simon Pegg) decides to reunite a group of old friends to finish of a bar crawl they never finished 20 years ago. The crawl sees all the friends head back to their old stomping ground of Newton Haven and despite everyone having their own lives the bond is still there which is great news as they might be the only remaining people to save humanity from a alien apocalypse!
Like the previous 2 films of the trilogy it looks like The World’s End will follow suit in been inspired by films messr’s Wright, Pegg and Frost all love with the vibe for this one been Invasion Of The Body Snatchers. Throw in some twists and turns plus their own brand of comedy we know like the over the fence gag. Plenty of the trilogies old faces will make an appearance at some point, it’s obivious The World’s End will be compared to This Is The End (Seth Rogen, James Franco) probably starting another Shaun of The Dead Vs Zombieland fiasco. Like then we’ll treat both as separate filmsenjoy the humour but most of all enjoy one last lick of the cornetto!
The World’s End will be ending in UK&Irish cinemas from 19th July with American cinemas catching it 23rd August. The Film co-stars Nick Frost, Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine, Eddie Marsan and Rosamund Pike.
