Everyone loves a good mystery, just like the trio of podcasters in the official Trailer for Bodkin. Who in Ireland unearth a bigger story than they expected.
Netflix have released the the Trailer for their upcoming dark comedy series. Will Forte stars alongside Siobhán Cullen, and Robyn Cara in this 7 episode series. Created by Jez Scharf who is also the co-showrunner with Alex Metcalf.
Set in Ireland, Bodkin follows a trio of podcasters who head to a small coastal town investigating the mysterious disappearance of three strangers. Things start to get very strange, weird when they start to put the pieces of the puzzle together. Leading them to something bigger and questioning them fact from fiction.
Higher Ground have produced this series, the company owned by Barrack and Michelle Obama. Which was filmed in various locations in Ireland such as Wicklow, Dublin and Cork. Any good? Not long to wait!
BODKIN is a dark comedic thriller about a motley crew of podcasters (Will Forte, Siobhán Cullen, Robyn Cara) who set out to investigate the mysterious disappearance of three strangers in a quaint, coastal Irish town. But once they start pulling at threads, they discover a story much bigger and weirder than they could have ever imagined. As our heroes try to discern fact from fiction — about the case, about their colleagues, and, most painfully, themselves — the series challenges our perception of truth and exposes the stories we tell ourselves to justify our beliefs or validate our fears. BODKIN is a Higher Ground production.
The series will have a host of guest stars , plus Chris Walley and David Wilmot. Bodkin will launch on Netflix from 9th May.
