OUR IDIOT BROTHER Confirm’s Paul Rudd is our Favourite Idiot

Everyone has someone in their family they all love but just cant keep there mouth shut causing chaos for all, you know they dont mean it but you just want to throttle them but there family! Weinstein Company via Yahoo have released the theatrical trailer for Sundance hit comedy OUR IDIOT BROTHER which has Paul Rudd as that harmless brother who is loveable but innocently doesnt understand the words no and stop. The teaser trailer showed promise and looked like the humour department maybe a little thin however the the new does seem to make up for that demeanour as we get to see more of naiveties. After dealing drugs to an uniformed police officer Ned ends up moving into his sisters houses driving them crazy but his kind hearted soul actual shows the sisters their just as naive as he is.

No word on this been released in UK & Ireland but the movie is getting released in USA on August 26th. A juicy looking cast for this movie which includes Elizabeth Banks, Steve Coogan, Zooey Deschanel, Rashida Jones, Emily Mortimer, Adam Scott, Hugh Dancy with Jesse Peretz directing.

Ned Rochlin (Rudd) looks for the good in every situation and in everyone, which often puts him at odds with the world around him – especially his family. Upon being released from jail for a stupid mistake, Ned is kicked off of the organic farm he lives and works on by his ex-girlfriend Janet (Hahn) who also insists on keeping his beloved dog, Willie Nelson. Having nowhere else to go, he turns to his family, three ambitious sisters (Banks, Deschanel, Mortimer) and an overbearing mother (Knight). Ned crashes at each of their homes, in succession, and brings honesty, happiness and a sunny disposition into their lives. In other words, he wreaks havoc.
