Osgood Perkins’ Keeper trailer promises terror for Tatiana Maslany

Keeper trailer starring Tatiana Maslany

Neon has released the first trailer for the Osgood Perkins horror movie, Keeper, which you can watch below!

Fresh from his barmy and gory Stephen King adaptation The MonkeyPerkins now seems to be modulating back toward the psychological terror of his 2024 hit Longlegs. Keeper reunites Perkins with The Monkey actor Tatiana Maslany. She plays a woman named Liz who is confronting the nature of her relationship to Malcolm, played by Rossif Sutherland. This being a chiller, it naturally takes place in a cabin deep in the woods.

Liz soon begins to question the nature of her reality as nightmarish visions begin to close in from all sides. “Why does it always have to end?” she asks. “Is there any way to keep love alive? Do I even know this man? Is it his face I see when I close my eyes? Or only a mask that he’s wearing? Always there, looking back at me.”

The trailer concludes with the chilling line: “I think he’s a keeper.” Perkins describes the movie as a “dark trip”, one that promises to cement his fruitful relationship with distributor Neon.

Official Synopsis:

During an anniversary getaway at a remote cabin, a wife (Tatiana Maslany) is left alone after her husband (Rossif Sutherland) departs, only to confront a sinister presence that exposes the cabin’s chilling past.

Keeper is released in the UK by Black Bear on 14th November.
