Oscar For Glenn Close? Trailer For Albert Nobbs

As many wise men and women have said to many others if you have a dream go after it with a passion and when you that you will achieve that goal. Since 1982 Glen Close has been trying to bring Albert Nobbs to the big screen and 29 years own her dream has become reality with the film premièring at various film festivals this year and now Sony Pictures have unveiled the films official trailer. Albert Nobbs is played by Close herself, a persona created for a single woman trying to survive 19th century Dublin as a butler for a upmarket establishment , living as a man to escape loneliness as well as a life of poverty. Despite taking so long to reach the big screen Close has taken every chance to study the part in great detail just waiting for that magical moment and now its happened and you can bet your bottom dollar this will get her Oscar nominations but what will it be for best Female or Best Male?!

Albert Nobbs doesn’t have a release date yet for UK&Ireland but do expect 2012 or end of this year the earliest, the film also stars Mia Wasikowska, Brendan Gleeson, Janet McTeer, Aaron Johnson, Pauline Collins, Brenda Fricker, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Bronagh Gallagher
