“One Of Us Has To Beat This Sob” Official Trailer For The Big Day Starring Jack Black, Owen Wilson, Steve Martin

I must be one of very few people in the world who think Owen Wilson and Jack Black aren’t funny but as for Steve Martin I think we can include comedy legend  in the sentence, The Big Year does it have the makings of a classic comedy? Fox 2000 have released the official trailer for the movie starring the trio a comedy of 3 bird watchers who try to out do each other in a year long competition to spot the rarest birds around North America. With 3 established comedy actors you would expect  some material to get our funny bones into action, but sadly going by what we see in this trailer it does seem to be lacking humour, this might be a cruel comment so fingers crossed the funny bits have been kept for the actual film itself, though is this a dramedy? Possibly.

The movie  also stars Rosamund Pike, Jim Parsons, Joel McHale, JoBeth Williams, Brian Dennehy, Dianne Wiest, Anthony Anderson, and Tim Blake Nelson with Marley and Me director David Frankel directing. The Big Year will be released in UK&Ireland on November 11th(USA October 14th).
