One Final The Running Man Trailer Amps Up The Action
How far will you go for a billion dollars? This week Edgar Wright’s The Running Man will arrive in UK Cinemas, Paramount Pictures release one final Trailer that amps up the action!
The long awaited remake of the cult 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger film is very close. We cannot wait especially as part of the film was filmed in Glasgow very close to The Peoples Movies HQ.
Based on the Stephen King sci-fi novel of the same name, Glen Powell is Ben Richards. A father desperate to help his sick daughter, pushed into the deadliest and popular tv game show…The Running Man.
The rest of the cast includes Josh Brolin, Emilia Jones, Michael Cera, Jayme Lawson, Katy O’Brien, Karl Glusman, Lee Pace, Sean Hayes and Colman Domingo .
Synopsis | In a near-future society, The Running Man is the top-rated show on television—a deadly competition where contestants, known as Runners, must survive 30 days while being hunted by professional assassins, with every move broadcast to a bloodthirsty public and each day bringing a greater cash reward. Desperate to save his sick daughter, working-class Ben Richards (Glen Powell) is convinced by the show’s charming but ruthless producer, Dan Killian (Josh Brolin), to enter the game as a last resort. But Ben’s defiance, instincts, and grit turn him into an unexpected fan favourite—and a threat to the entire system. As ratings skyrocket, so does the danger, and Ben must outwit not just the Hunters but a nation addicted to watching him fall.
The Running Man will be in UK, Irish and U.S cinemas from Wednesday 12th November.
