‘Nothing Really Dies In Corn’ In Children Of The Corn UK Trailer

Nothing really dies in the corn and later this you will see that when Children Of The Corn remake arrives in the UK. Today Vertigo Releasing have sent us over the UK Trailer which in the words of a certain Youtbube channel ‘Freaky Deaky‘ kids!

The new version of this Stephen King novel comes from Kurt Wimmer who is no stranger to penning or producing remakes with 2015 Point Break a notable entry.

The film is the 11th instalment to the franchise and a ‘remake’ of the original. 2018 was the last one with John Gulager’s Children of the Corn: Runaway. This version was actually made in 2023, however a certain ‘Covid pandemic’ left the film in limbo and now we are only weeks for it’s release.

Children of The Corn we meet a young girl possessed by spirit in a dying cornfield. Slowly other children are recruited  by her and they take control of their small home town. Leading to the kids going on a barbaric rampage and making their parent pay for their mistakes.

Based on the short story by Stephen King, Children of the Corn is a chilling and barbaric tale of misled youth and small-town rituals . Possessed by a spirit in a dying cornfield, twelve-year-old Eden recruits the other children in her small town to rise up and take control. Tired of having to pay the price for their parents’ mistakes, Eden leads the kids on a bloody rampage, killing the adults and anyone who opposes her. With all the adults jailed or dead, it comes down to one high schooler who refuses to conform and becomes the town’s only hope of survival.

The film stars Elena Kampouris, Kate Moyer, Callan Mulvey, and Bruce Spence. Children Of The Corn remake will be released in the UK and Ireland on Digital Platforms from 31st July.
