Adapted from Terry Hughes’ award-winning stage play ‘Life’s A Gatecrash‘. The film drives the audience to a breaking point in this modern-day revenge tragedy, starring Game of Thrones’ and The Crown’s Anton Lesser.
The film follows a woman trapped in an abusive relationship, force to keep a secret and an accessory to a horrific crime her husband was involved in. The stakes are risen when she makes an life changing discovery.
A long way from home and trapped in an abusive relationship, a French woman, Nicole (Olivia Bonamy – `Them’) becomes an accessory to a horrific crime and is then forced to keep it a secret by her brutal and controlling husband Steve. (Ben Cura – `Marcella) However, the stakes are raised when she makes a life changing discovery that leaves her with no choice but to continue the deceit. As her feelings of isolation and fear intensify and her reality begins to fragment the couple is visited by two mysterious strangers (Sam West – Darkest Hour, Howard’s End) (Anton Lesser – Game of Thrones) who will not rest until the truth is revealed – at any cost.
The film stars Olivia Bonamy, Ben Cura, Anton Lesser and Samuel West.
Gatecrash will be available for rent or Digital Download from 22nd February in the UK and Ireland.
