Nicolas Cage Gets Mind Warped With Colour Out Of Space UK Trailer

Colour Of Space (2020)

In need of some cage rage? We might just get some in Colour Out Of Space. When things get all H.P Lovecraft with Richard Stanley’s trippy cosmic horror.

After hearing about the film for nearly a year now from it’s festival run, we finally get a UK Trailer. Watch Nicolas Cage brain melt!

Will always be known as the man behind Hardware (1990) and the troublesome Island Of Dr.Moreau remake (1996). 24 years later he’s back and from those festival reviews, he created an awesome film. A Lovecraftian nightmare which sees Cage as Nathan Gardner. A man who finds a meteorite that crash lands in his backyard. transforming his home, family, his life into a technicolor nightmare.

We love Nicolas Cage. We also know his performances are hit and miss all depending what films he chooses. In Mandy he goes batshit crazy and this one promises he will again. You’ll never look at colour the same way again…

A cosmic nightmare from the minds of H.P. Lovecraft and cult director, Richard Stanley, COLOR OUT OF SPACE follows Nathan Gardner (Nicolas Cage), Theresa Gardner(Joely Richardson) and their three children, (Madeleine Arthur, Brenden Meyer and Julian Hilliard), whose recent retreat to rural life quickly crumbles when a meteorite crashes into their front yard. The mysterious aerolite seems to melt into the earth, infecting both the land and the properties of space-time. Mutant forms of technicolor flora start sprouting, while local animals begin to display bizarre deformities. Soon, the Gardners realize that they too are susceptible to the extraterrestrial pathogen, and must escape the contagious cloud that has consumed their farm. With the help of a friendly hydrologist (Elliot Knight) and eccentric neighbor (Tommy Chong), the family attempts to battle a nebulous entity that they can barely begin to understand. What chance can a few humans have against a force capable of traversing the gulf between worlds, a nightmarish being that exists beyond the limits of the human spectrum?

The film also stars Joely Richardson, Madeleine Arthur, Brendan Meyer, Julian Hilliard, Elliot Knight, with Q’Orianka Kilcher and Tommy Chong.

Colour Out Of Space is set for a UK and Irish Cinema and on demand release on 28th February.
