Nicholas Cage Vs. The Rapture In Left Behind Trailer

If there’s ever going to be one man you want to save you from your possible doom, from The Rapture it has to be Nicholas Cage and in Left Behind  he will pilot you but God may get you, watch first trailer.

With a fairly decent success (very good success to Cage standards) of Joe Cage changes his attention from young men looking for father type figures to surviving the apocalypse high up in the air! Left Behind sees Cage play pilot Rayford Pilot whose passengers including his co-pilot suddenly disappear whilst flying 30,000 Feet. With the plane now damaged and the remaining passengers Rayford is left with the nightmare of  landing the plane and finding his family.

We’re fans of of Cage due to his unpredictability of what film he follows up with after a fairly successful, sadly it’s usually followed by a bad one. Left Behind is certainly an odd one but one that’s also one inspired by the religious beliefs of the  writer though having God as hero and villain is somewhat interesting premise. To be honest this looks like one of those movies that fans of trashy cheesefests will adore and may affect how the film gets released here in UK.

Left Behind has no confirmed UK release date but don’t be surprised if this one ends up a direct to DVD, whilst in USA it’s a 3rd October cinematic release date. The film co-stars Lea Thompson, Chad Michael Murray and Cassi Thomson.
