The countdown to finally seeing Nathan Drake on the big screen with Uncharted takes a step closer today. Sony Pictures have released a brand new Poster for the film, despite the design being unremarkable or generic Photoshop mess it contains one vital detail…The UK release date.
After weeks of uncertainty, Sony have confirmed UK and Irish cinema fans will indeed see the film next. Exclusively in cinemas and if there was anything that would stop seeing this film anywhere else it would be Omicron. The new promo showcases the film’s main cast with Tom Holland as Drake with Mark Wahlberg his mentor Victor “Sully” Sullivan minus that infamous moustache seen in the games.
What ever your thoughts are on the artwork, fans of the Sony Playstation game will be only interested if Uncharted will be that true video game film adaptation…

Street-smart thief Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago. What starts as a heist job for the duo becomes a globe-trotting, white-knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world’s oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure and perhaps even Nate’s long-lost brother…but only if they can learn to work together.
The film also stars Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, Matt Holloway and Antonio Banderas.
After a few weeks of Uncharted UK and Irish cinema saying ‘Coming Soon’, it has reverted back to 11th February.
