New Transformers: The Last Knight Clip Introduces New Character

We all know the Transformers franchise is like marmite to many people, you either love it or loathe it, we can’t deny it’s Michael Bay‘s pet project. Paramount love it and every movie despite mixed reviews it’s become one of the financially successful movie franchises of all time.

Transformers: The Last Knight we’ve been promised the Transformers mythology will delve deeper into humankind’s dark, twisted history and so far they have kept to that promise. Maybe only teasing certain elements but enough to separate this movie from the original 3 movies. Today we get a brand new clip called ‘Canopy‘ which we’re introduced to a new character called Izabella (Isabela Moner). We don’t know much about her apart she’s a Battle Of Chicago survivor and has an Autobot friend called Squeaks. In this post-war clip, she leads a group of kids away from a robot (looks like something straight out of Robocop) to hide under a canopy. The kids are terrified but we soon learn her Autobot friend is under the canopy too!

The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).

There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive theirs, or ours.

Transformers: The Last Knight is set for a 23rd June UK and Irish Cinema release.
