New Thor Image of Heimdall aka Idris Elba

Marvel.Com have unveiled another new image for Kenneth Branagh’s THOR and shows the norse god Heimdall played by British actor Idris Elba with Chris Hemsworth playing Thor. Elba’s character is the sentry guardian of the rainbow bridge Bifrost  who is basically the watcher of any attacks on Asgard, so if you plan to attack this is who you’ll have to defeat first to advance in your attack.

It’s funny how many people actually believe Idris Elba is American when he’s a born and bred Londoner. The cofusion is all down to his part in American tv show series The Wire so you could say its credit to the big man that he’s very convincing as a American!

THOR stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo, Stellan Skarsgard, Jaimie Alexander, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Josh Dallas, Tadanobu Asano, Idris Elba, Clark Gregg, Colm Feore. Thor is out April 29th in UK & Ireland.
