New The Raid 2 UK TV Spot Confirms It’s A Critical Hit And Action Packed!

When it comes to intense action packed  films The Raid  pulled out all the stops proving why it was a critical hit in 2011, 3 years on The Raid 2 will be a critical hit and in new UK TV Spot it confirms it WILL be.

The New Spot is only 31 seconds long  but it’s packed to the rafters with many action set pieces and those quotes to remind us why The Raid 2 is a must when it arrives next moth on UK shores. Can it it realistically outdo the first film? We haven’t seen it yet but looking at those quotes it’s on course to beating it critically if not matching it. The film made it’s world premiere at Sundance Film Festival back in January with those critics fortunate to be there calling it the greatest which is a powerful thing to say about any film and a comment which excites us too.

Last whilst we where on Film Festival duty an Australian trailer for The Raid 2 was released online which compliments  the exciting prospect we have on the cards delivering that adrenaline rush we need to watch this,it’s going to be Christmas when this arrives.

On other news it’s been on the cards for a long time The American remake of The Raid has now taken a step closer to becoming reality when the film’s director was announced. The Expendables 3 director Patrick Hughes has the responsibility  according to Deadline will direct with XYZ Films the production team behind the original will be onboard with Gareth Evans also helping out on an executive producer basis. With Evans involvement  possibly will ensure the martial arts action scenes pay homage to the original but our concern is the script writers Jon and Erich Hoeber are behind Battleship a film that needs no introduction, a dreadful film, however Out Of The Furnace writer Brad Inglesby is now been connected. Is it too early to be talking about remakes especially as the original is only 3 years as the skeptics will jump on this as the record of foreign remakes again American remakes is dreadful.

The Raid 2 will be released in UK on 11th April starring Iko Uwais, Julie Estelle, Alex Abbad, Yayan Ruhian, Mathias Muchus, Tio Pakusadewo, Marsha Timothy, Cecep Arif Rahman, Matsuda Ryuhei, Endo Kenichi and Kitamura Kazuki
