WILD powerfully reveals her terrors and pleasures as she forges ahead on a journey that maddens, strengthens, and ultimately heals her.
You could say Wild has similar qualities to Sean Penn‘s brilliantly underrated Into The Wild which is not a bad thing and with the director of Dallas Buyers Club behind the lens (Witherspoon producing) success for the film is a possibility. Like all filmmakers Wild will be judged against DBC as a point on what critics and film fans will expect with Wild, he captures the intimacy as well as the natural, dangerous beauty of the great wilderness with a flawed character attempting to find themselves.It made our Top 10 films list to watch this Autumn/Winter so we have big hopes this will do well when it arrives in a cinema near you!
Wild will arrive in UK & Ireland from 16th January 2015 with Thomas Sadoski, Michiel Huisman, Gaby Hoffmann and Kevin Rankin.
