King Skull Island .

When you’re in his territory you must abide by him, he is the King and next month we bow to him when Kong: Skull Island finally arrives in UK&Irish Cinemas. He is the king of the swingers and we hope when he’s once on our big screens Warner Bros will be hoping he will be the king of the box office as well.

Today we have a host of new images from the movie, that do one thing. make us want to see this even more and since the last time we had anything (trailer watch it here). Check out the images…

Compared to American/International marketing Warner Bros subdued, with very few assets which is very unusual. Overall what we’ve seen we’ve been impressed especially as we weren’t fans of the more recent incarnations. This version may not be set in the 1930’s , but it does look to keep a lot of mystery, momentum with a big slice of Apocalypse Now thrown into the mix. He’s bigger probably meaner but Skull Island is his home and we’re trespassing!

Kong: Skull Island reimagines the origin of the mythic Kong in a compelling, original adventure from director Jordan Vogt-Roberts. In the film, a diverse team of explorers is brought together to venture deep into an uncharted island in the Pacificโ€”as beautiful as it is treacherousโ€”unaware that theyโ€™re crossing into the domain of the mythic Kong.
