New Fantastic Four: First Steps Trailer Reveals Silver Surfer

The latest The Fantastic Four: First Steps has revealed Julia Garner‘s Silver Surfer, teased a pregnancy, and given a first look at Reed Richards’ stretching ability.

In the new footage, Richards (Pedro Pascal) and Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby) learn they are expecting a baby.

The Fantastic Four are visited by the Silver Surfer, played by Garner, who warns them that planet Earth is marked for death.

Pascal’s character can also be seen using his stretching abilities for the first time on-screen.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” introduces Marvel’s First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most daunting challenge yet. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.

Directed by WandaVision‘s Matt Shakman, The Fantastic Four: First Steps is due to release in cinemas on 25th July.

It stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing.

The cast also includes Ralph Ineson as the villain Galactus, Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, Mark Gatiss, and John Malkovich.
